- It is very important that both parents of the student should visit the school for signing the documents and also ascertain the
facilities offered by the school. The classes for every academic year will commence from the last week of May and end up in the month
of March of the ensuing year with vacations in October and April-May. The exact dates of reopening and closing of the school, including
other holidays, are mentioned in the School Calendar published in advance and given to each parent.

- Parents will be expected to refer to the student diary regularly and ensure that homework is completed and submitted in the allocated time by the student.
- Parental involvement in the child’s learning process lays the foundation for future success.
- Parents can assist the child with research and collaborative work on home and projects.
- Formative and Summative tests are done to evaluate the child’s academic performance at this stage.
- The academic calendar is divided into two term with Unit Tests and Term Examinations at the end of 2nd and final term.
- Internal assessments are regularly done for evaluating the performance in class test, projects and assignments.
- Continuous assessments through Unit Tests, Class Tests, Work sheets, Mental Mathematics and Dictations form a part of the evaluation process.
- Promotion will depend on the overall performance of the student in tests and examinations.
- The assessment also lays emphasis on conduct, discipline and participation in school and outdoor activities.
- Promotion is also subject to 90% attendance in class.
- Progress reports of the child will be discussed and handed over during the Parent – Teacher Meetings.
- Students’ assessment also includes assessment of conduct, discipline and participation in school activities.
- These marks are included with the exam scores.
